Endowment Gift
Pat: We had seen the impact the programs had on the faithful who needed the services. We hoped to register our commitment and support by making a gift that would last well into the future.
Shelly: A staff member at the Catholic Foundation told us that many ministries have Endowment funds held by the foundation and contributing to her favorite Catholic cause with a donation to their endowment would be a wonderful way for them to meet their charitable goals. We learned that an endowment was a fund that served as a permanent source of income for an organization's projects. The Catholic Foundation explained that there is a list of all the Endowment Funds on cfnek.org, and click on the "Make a Gift" button and then click on "Select your Fund" for a list of Catholic organizations for your charitable giving.

The Catholic foundation offers workshops at parishes and schools to assist the faithful in learning more about supporting their parish’s endowment, funding their own family Donor Advised Fund or Scholarship, as well as presentations by licensed financial advisors and estate planning attorneys to help parishioners learn ways to steward their money for planned gifts.
