Bequests
Joe: Anna and I have grown to desire to make a difference through charitable giving. Since, we
have experienced the love of Jesus Christ through our participation in the Mass, we definitely wanted to include our parish in our Will.
Anna: Joe and I have been careful and have been able to save for retirement. We were still able to make a bequest to our heirs while giving to our parish. In our hearts, our parish and heirs have both helped us become the “givers” we are today.
Joe: Both Anna and I have a will and included our heirs and our parish in each. We chose to use the percentage of our estate model to designate the amount of the gift. Our attorney took the simple language available from the organization and included a nice bequest in my will as well as Anna's. We are delighted that we will be helping others through these gifts.
